Based on all the feedback we've received, we'll be reopening BackerKit this coming Tuesday. We expect it to be open for the duration of The Lost Isle of Mist show. We'll post up the link when it's ready.

Life is working very hard to make things as difficult as possible for our editor and ourselves outside of the game, but we're making progress. We had hoped to be in the layout phase by now but that needs to be pushed back. Bleh.
Initially, we had closed the BackerKit pre-order store because we'd planned to be going to print around this time but that is not happening yet. Several months ago we'd planned for the book releases to coincide with the promotion/preview Weave the Tale is doing for us (see below for more exciting info on that).
We've been talking about it and we kind of figure it might be weird if we didn't open BackerKit up for a little bit for those who discover us through the show. We also know there are a few people following us who want to pre-order but missed the window of opportunity.
What do y'all think? Would it be okay to open it up again until we're closer to printing?
(We apologize if this frustrates or confuses. It's our first Kickstarter so the learning process has been bumpy. Thanks for sticking with us 👍. )
As mentioned in a previous update, Weave the Tale will be featuring the first behind-the-scenes preview of our game and the world of Nuada! Weekly episodes for The Lost Isle of Mist begin February 16th and air every Tuesday on Twitch. There will be 10 episodes total.

Good evening!
We're delighted to announce our collaboration with Weave the Tale (formerly known as Encounter RP), to play and stream The Nuadan Chronicles RPG beginning in February 2021!
We'll post more info about dates and times the closer we get to the first episode. Jason and I are excited to share this preview of the game with you all. We've met the GM, discussed storyline ideas, and had a blast doing a one-shot game the other day to show off the world and rules.
As for editing the books, we're not where we want to be in the process but we are getting closer. We expect to send the lore book to our graphics designer soon and we are sending rulebook chapters one by one to the editor after a final review by Jason and me.
We're currently awaiting the arrival of the Elderwood Academy add-ons.
We're planning a revamp of the Broken Dice website, which will include an online store, space to feature additional lore and game updates, and possibly an interactive map of Uldris.
Both of us are fit and healthy for the most part after getting smacked with Covid last month. We feel much more confident with everything going on in our lives here at the beginning of 2021 compared to the end of 2020.

Before we get into shipping, a quick update: we have hired an editor and they officially start work on the books tomorrow! 🎉
On to shipping...
Over the coming week, shipping costs will be added to accounts with physical items. The cost is based on the address provided when you filled out your BackerKit survey.
Addresses will not be locked until we get closer to shipping in Q1 2021. When that happens, a Final Shipping Address Reminder email will be sent to everyone to confirm or update their address.
Shipping costs and add-ons will not be charged until Q1 2021.
